James Keiller & Sons Dundee Marmalade Crocks are becoming harder to find and are highly collectible. The company got its start in the early 1700’s when it bought a ship full of bitter Seville oranges. Janet Keiller, turned the tart fruit into tasty marmalade, and a British staple was born. This crock is circa 1880 and has been recovered after being discarded and buried in London, England.  Aged and full of crazing with perfect patina.

My items are antique and vintage and are sold “As-is” and “As-found.”  These Ironstone crocks and over 100 years old and may have crazing, hairline cracks, chips and imperfections. Please look over the listing description and photos, as well please ask me any questions before your purchase. I make every attempt to accurately point out the flaws and wear on the items listed in my shop but can’t guarantee or certify each item.
